The sibling of green split peas, yellow split peas are similar in taste in texture only with a milder taste. Can be used similarly to split green peas for soup. Commonly used in Indian dahl recipes. They lend a brighter color to legume dishes like hummus or soup

Store in a cool, dry place in an airtight container. Good for 2-3 years

No soaking necessary. Add 3 cups water and 1 cup peas to large pot, boil then simmer for 20-30 minutes until tender
